About the Fort Worth International Center

Welcome to the Fort Worth International Center - the one central place to learn about the international face of Fort Worth, Texas, USA.  The Fort Worth International Center assists Fort Worth companies in all aspects of international business and assists individuals outside the USA interested in doing business in Fort Worth. Our services range from one-on-one counseling and seminars on various international topics to trade missions and the design of multi-lingual marketing materials to help you project the right image to international clients. We want you to succeed, so our services also include searching for new customers including dealers, distributors, franchisees or JV candidates.

We also seek to enhance and promote cultural exchanges and increase international relations with other countries in order to promote friendship, cultural appreciation and facilitate business.  The following organizations are members of the Fort Worth International Center.

The Fort Worth Office of International Affairs is charged with the promotion of international trade and investment through finding matches between Fort Worth and foreign businesses, sourcing products, advising on international methods of payments and offering counseling at the transaction level. The Office of International Affairs also provides protocol services to City of Fort Worth officials.

The U.S. Department of Commerce Export Assistance Center promotes exports of U.S. made products through their extensive worldwide network of embassies and consulates. They also locate international customers, JV partners and distributors, evaluate potential markets, provide market research, and due diligence. The Fort Worth Export Assistance Center is particularly involved in promoting global opportunities to aerospace, defense and aviation companies through a variety of matchmaking events at trade shows and exhibitions around the world.

Tarrant County College International Small Business Development Center (ISBDC)The TCC ISBDC provides free one-on-one international business counseling to all business endeavors from start-up to mature operations. Additionally, the TCC ISBDC provides seminars on international marketing, finance, customs, legal issues, and import/export related subjects. The TCC ISBDC also publishes a monthly newsletter that includes useful business tools and tips. The topics are beneficial to anyone contemplating or engaged in business.

The non-profit, nonpartisan World Affairs Council was established in 1951 in Dallas and in 1961 in Fort Worth to educate citizens on crucial issues of international affairs and foreign policy. In 2006, the two Councils unified to create a strong regional organization. Today, the World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth presents more than 80 programs a year that both enlighten and entertain North Texans.

Whether your interest is international business, culture, politics or foreign policy, the World Affairs Council offers programs to broaden your horizons as members sit down with today's global newsmakers and gain the insight, understanding and information needed to keep abreast of international affairs.

The Tarrant County Asian American Chamber of Commerce (TCAACC) strives to unite Asians of all ethnic backgrounds to advance their general welfare, promote members’ businesses and elevate economical integration into American mainstream. The TCAACC is more than a small business organization. Its members range from small shop owners to big corporations representing different business sectors and a diverse ethnic group.

The Asian Pacific American population has increased more than 550 percent in the last five years. And the number of business owner has reached its highest level of more than 5,000 in Tarrant County, Fort Worth, Arlington and Haltom City.

The Fort Worth Sister Cities International (FWSCI) strives to cultivate successful relationships and international understanding among Fort Worth youths, adults and organizations and Fort Worth's seven sister cities through educational, leadership, and exchange programs. FWSCI is a nonprofit organization under contract with the City of Fort Worth to operate the Sister Cities program. These sister cities are Reggio Emilia, Italy; Trier, Germany; Nagaoka, Japan; Bandung, Indonesia; Budapest, Hungary; Toluca, Mexico; and most recently Mbabane, Swaziland.
